A bit about me

My name is Nico Gysbers and I have been teaching DP Physics for the last 9 years. Before getting into education, I tried my hand in engineering and financial advising. In the end, I knew teaching was my true calling, so I took the leap to get certified. I love my job. I love science. I love coaching basketball. I think it is really important that we have passion for our subjects and what we do as teachers on a day to day basis because it will rub off onto the students. I'm currently the DP Coordinator at my school as well as teaching DP Physics and Chemistry and have in the past taught Math. I have also had the roles of Extended Essay and CAS Coordinator for my school. I hope my resources are helpful to you.
